SOUPSTER FAMILY

Values

Soupster’s core values were developed by employees already in the early 2000s during a joint workshop – and they can still be seen in every smile, service, and dish.

Soupster’s core values are fun, caring, and continuous development.

Each month we reward an employee who, through their attitude and work, has embodied these values – based on colleagues’ recommendations – with a €500 bonus. Why? Because good vibes and amazing work deserve to be recognized.

01. FUN

We believe that work can be fun – and it should be. When the team laughs, the customers enjoy themselves too. Atmosphere is not a side note but part of the experience. Let’s have fun with colleagues and customers and spread good vibes at the workplace.

02. CARING

We care about people – and it shows. Each of us takes responsibility for our work, our colleagues, and our customers. We take care – of each other and of what we build together.

03. CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

Good is never finished. We don’t stand still; we improve our operations and ourselves every day, and we don’t get stuck in place. Small improvements make a big difference – and we want to be better today than we were yesterday.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Discrimination-Free Workplace

Every individual has equal human rights and the right to a safe work environment. Soupster Family is an employer under which no one is discriminated against based on gender, nationality, sexual orientation, skin color, or other factors. We expect our employees to sign these common rules of conduct and to act in accordance with our values.

What is inappropriate behavior and why is it important to address discrimination at the grassroots level?

Attitudes and serious acts do not emerge in a vacuum but accumulate gradually through the silent acceptance of milder discrimination. Inappropriate behavior in the workplace includes, for example, racist jokes, belittling, violation of physical integrity, intrusive questions about private life such as sexual orientation or relationship status, bullying, name-calling, inappropriate suggestions, and harassment. Disguising discrimination as a joke is not acceptable, and inappropriate behavior cannot be excused as “just a joke.”

Consequences of discrimination

  • Reprimand

  • Warning

  • Termination of employment

Report incidents to your supervisor/company management and/or submit a report anonymously through the Whistleblowing feedback channel!

Whistleblowing – mitä, miksi & miten?

The Whistleblowing channel is an anonymous and confidential reporting tool for Soupster’s stakeholders (such as employees, partners, or customers) who have observed potential misconduct or behavior contrary to our values and wish to bring it to the company management’s attention.

Every report initiates an impartial investigation, and cases are thoroughly reviewed. Reports may concern possible illegal activities or cases that clearly violate Soupster Family’s code of conduct. Ordinary complaints or customer feedback do not fall within the scope of whistleblowing for serious misconduct – we gladly receive them through other channels.

In whistleblowing, protecting the anonymity of the reporter is of paramount importance, so that fear of negative consequences does not prevent reporting. Soupster Family encourages all stakeholders to report misconduct without hesitation if it comes to light. This helps us act responsibly and transparently. Our values (Fun, Continuous Development & Caring) and Soupster’s Code of Conduct guide our daily work, and our employees are committed not only to following applicable laws but also to adhering to these principles.

First Whistle

Soupster uses the First Whistle service to ensure anonymity. This external, certified service guarantees that reports can be submitted fully anonymously and that there is no risk of misuse in the system. Access is restricted to only a few designated individuals who handle every report according to protocol and without delay.

Reports are submitted anonymously, but it is also possible to provide contact details if desired. The system generates an anonymous ID and key for the reporter, which allows them to return to their report and communicate with the handlers confidentially and anonymously. The encrypted platform guides the user through the reporting process. It is important to provide as much detail as possible about what has happened; additional information can also be attached in the form of files or images.

Through the Whistleblowing channel, reports can be made concerning all units and companies belonging to the Soupster Family group.
